PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

This newly created role reports to the Site Financial Controller but will work on a daily basis with the Project Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant who can demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English
• Proven ability to manage relationships with Senior Management located both locally and overseas
• Able to challenge current financial practices
• Ability to implement robust financial controls for project management
• Ability to provide full financial analysis for a multiple currency project, including understanding and investigating variances and reporting on it to management
• Dealing with external bodies and agencies including knowledge of relevant import processes, tax and custom clearance processes and understanding of associated risks
• Responsibility for all financial aspects of the project including administration such as raising purchase orders and custom clearance documents and managing the financial filing system
• Ability to work independently and set own priorities
• Experienced user of excel
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Minimum S1 degree in accounting and 10 years post qualification experience which must include time working in manufacturing environment at multinational Company.
